1832 Light Duties

The following is a list of light duties collected by J L Hurdis, during the last quarter of 1832. Our first permanent lighthouse was supposed to have been at Point Prim about 1845. This list seems to indicate where the ships were proceeding rather that whence they came. Compared to the notices in the Royal Gazette. Since the dates here are neither dates of arrival or departure but usually somewhere in between it appears that would be the date that the light duties were paid.
