"FISHING BOUNTIES
In the Senate, a few days ago, Senator Ferguson asked if it were true that certain persons in Prince County, whom he named, had received checks as fishing bounties for the season of 1898.
He also asked for the name of the fishery officer or Justice of the Peace who administered the oath for claims in each case and the amount of the claim....
Hon. Mr. Mills, in reply, said that certain payments had been made, and submitted a statement showing what had been done and the name of the fishery officer or Justice of the Peace concerned in the payment made. Following are the names given by the Minister:
