MILK PRODUCTION PRIZES
DEAR SIR - The directors of the P E I Dairy Association met on Tuesday, the 12th inst, when prizes were awarded as in the list below, for the cheese season of this year, five months, June to October inclusive. All the prizes offered were not taken in Prince and Queen's Counties. The competition is therefore extended to the 28th inst, for these counties for the prizes untaken.
The showing on the whole is very encouraging and notwithstanding the distress of last winter, there are clear evidences of improvements in dairying.
The showing of King's county is particularly good. Later on I hope to discuss the returns in detail.
