James married (1-MRIN:7) Elizabeth MCLAREN-, daughter of Donald M. MCLAREN- and Elizabeth STEWART - (MRIN:9), on 4 Oct 1834 in Georgetown, Kings Co., P.E.I., Canada. Elizabeth was born in 1809 in Brudenell, P.E.I., Canada. She died in 1880.
