Family of James B. BISHOP, Snr.
James BISHOP, Farmer, and his wife Mary _______ came to Prince Edward Island between 1811 and 1819 probably from Plymouth, England. They were shown in both the PEI 1841 and the 1861 Census as living on Lot 64 , White Sands, Murray Harbour. A Land Conveyance between James and Mary BISHOP and their son, William is shown in Liber 62, Folio 84, 1850.
