1. DANIEL1 CREW may have been the son of JOHN CREW and DINAH RHODES, and if true was born 09 March 1805 in Bramley By Leeds, Yorkshire Co., England (?). So far, no proof has been found showing that the Daniel Dix Crew from Yorkshire and the Daniel Crew who lived in Lot 29, Prince Edward Island are the same person. There are several Island records concerning Daniel Crew of P.E.I. He married MARY JANE TAYLOR 22 January 1838 in Prince Edward Island, daughter of JAMES TAYLOR and ?. She was born 16 May 1808 (Death Certificate), St. Peter’s Island, Prince Edward Island, and died 04 July 1911 at Ontario House, Kingston Road, Toronto, York Co., Ontario. Daniel died in Canada West, before 1862.
