Macphail Homestead

Restaurant - Historic House

The Sir Andrew Macphail Homestead is located off Rte. 1 at Orwell, next to the Orwell Corner Historic Village. It is the birthplace of gifted Island writer Sir Andrew Macphail. Open mid June - mid October. Our dining room serves delightful lunches and afternoon tea. Hearty, locally-grown, homestyle dinners are served Wednesday & Sunday evenings.

Open Hours for the House and Restaurant are Wed, Fri, Sat and Sun 11.00 am - 7.30 pm, Thu 11.00 am - 4.30 pm. Mon and Tue - Closed.
