Know all men by these presents, that I, James Barrett of Lot Nineteen in Prince County, Prince Edward Island, for and in consideration of the sum of Five Shillings and natural affection,

Do hereby bargain, sell, assign, transfer and set over unto my Nephew Peter Gorman,

All my right, title and interest of the within Lease of Seventy-five acres of Land on Lot Nineteen from Andrew Thornton Todd, Esquire, Dated the ninth day of December, one thousand, Eight hundred and forty-three To have and to hold unto the said Peter Gorman, his heirs and assigns after my death All and singular the aforesaid land with the appurtenances thereunto belonging in the meantime, I do (keep?) the contract of said farm to myself, the said Peter Gorman binding himself to live with me and work on the said farm faithfully and after my death pay the yearly Rents reserved in the said Lease and all and singular other the conditions therein contained.

In Witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of March in the year of Our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four,
