This Indenture made the Sixteenth day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and Seventy Between James Bishop of Township Number Sixty four in Kings County Prince Edward Island Farmer and Eleanor Robertson his wife of the one part and Charles George White of the same place Wheelwright of the other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of Thirty five Pounds of lawful money of Prince Edward Island to the said James Bishop and Eleanor Robertson his wife in hand well and truly paid by the said George Charles Wright (sic) at or immediately before the Sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof they the said James Bishop and Eleanor Robertson his wife doth hereby acknowledge and of and from the same and every part thereof do acquit release and discharge the said Charles George Wright his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns forever by these presents they the said James Bishop and Eleanor Robertson his wife have granted bargained sold limited appointed alined released and confirmed and by these presents being a Deed of Release made in pursuance of an act of the General Assembly of the said Island made and passed in the Twelfth year of the Reign of the present Majesty Queen Victoria intitled An Act of rendering a Release as effectual for the Conveyance of Freehold Estate as a Lease and Release by the same parties Do grant bargain sell limit appoint alien release and confirm unto the said Charles George Wright his Heirs and Assigns All that tract piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in Kings County aforesaid and bounded as follows that is to say commencing at a Stake fixed on the South Bank of Murray River at the Northwest corner of a Piece of Land now in the possession of William Parker White, thence running South Sixty five chains thence West Five Chains thence North Sixty five Chains to Murray River thence following the course of the Shore of the Said River to the Stake or place of commencement containing by estimation thirtytwo and one half acres (32 1/2) be the same a little more or less being one Fourth part of the Glebe and School Land originally reserved by the Government or Township Number Sixty four, together with all and every the rights privilges easemnts advantages and appurtenances whatsoever to the said land belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and To Hold the said messuages(?) or tenements land or hereditaments and all other the premises herebefore granted appointed and released or expressed and intended so to be with their appurtenances unto and to these of the Said Charles George White (sic) his Heirs and Assigns forever. Subject nevertheless to the Quit Rents to become due exceptions reservations covenants and conditions in the original Grant or Letters patent of the said Premises reserved and contained. And the said James Bishop and Eleanor Robertson his Wife Do hereby for themselves their Heirs Executors and Administrators covenant promise and agree to and with the said Charles George White his Heirs and Assigns in manner and from following that is to say. that it shall and may be lawful to and for the said Charles George Wright (sic) his Heirs and Assigns at all times hereafter peaceably to enter into and upon, and to have hold occupy posess and enjoy the said lands and premises with their appurtenances and to receive the Rents and Profits thereof to and for his and their proper use and benefit without the lawful let suit trouble denial eviction interruption claim or demand whatsoever of or by them the Said James Bishop and Eleanor Robertson his wife or their Heirs or Assigns or of or by any other person lawfully or equitably claiming by from or under any of them. In witness whereof the said James Bishop and Eleanor Robertson his wife have hereunto set their hands and Seals the day and year first above written. at Murray Harbor in Kings County aforesaid in Presence of

Be it remember and that on the Sixteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Seventy the within named Eleanor Robertson Bishop wife of the within named James Bishop personally appeared before me Samuel Prouse one of her Majestys Justices of the Peace for Kings County Prince Edward Island and being by me Soley and Separately examined apart from her Said Husband did acknowlege that the within written Indenture of Release was by her duly Signed Sealed and delivered and executed as and for her free and voluntary Act and Deed and that she executed the same without the Compulsion or force of her said Husband and that at the time of the Execution thereof she knew the same to be a conveyance of the Estates and Premises within mentioned unto the within named Charles George White his Heirs and Assigns free and clear of all Estate right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of her the said Eleanor Robertson Bishop in respect of her Dower or otherwise.
