I am not a certified genealogist, but I enjoy helping others look for their roots. I am from the western part of P.E.I. and am most familiar with names from that area. Some names that I am researching for myself are: Griffin, Luttrell, McIsaac, McDonald (Brae, Lot 9 and Scotland); McKinnon (Brae, Lot 9 and Scotland). I have already been helpful to several individuals in the United States and other parts of Canada who were looking for their ancestors from P.E.I. Please e-mail me your requests and I will try to help you. My rates are $15.00 per hour of search.

I am not a certified genealogist but would like to work towards certification in the near future. The majority of my research has involved Catholic and Acadian families from Prince County and parts of western Queens County, usually for the period between 1800-1900. I do most of my research at the Centre d'études acadiennes in Moncton, which has most of the Catholic Parish Registers, PEI Census records from 1881 - 1891 - 1901, as well as a few early Island newspapers available on microfilm (a more detailed listing of what they have available for PEI is posted here at: http://www.islandregister.com/cea.html. I have been able to assist individuals in the past with their queries, in some cases providing a fair amount of information. Please contact me by e-mail with your research requests and I will try to assist you as best I can.
