Prince Edward Island Newspaper Repositories

I am told there is a wonderful guide to the newspapers of P.E.I. It is by Heather Boylan, and called, "Checklist and Historical Directory of Newspapers", Public Archives and Records Office, Charlottetown. It covers newspapers from 1787 to 1986. I have not seen it yet as I spend too much of my time working on the Register :-), but it may be viewed at the Archives, and at the Robertson Library of U.P.E.I.

I have included links to the home pages of the Repositories mentioned below. Most newspapers are not continuous in these repositories. Expect to find some missing issues. The National library will lend microform - also films may be purchased, please consult their page for film numbers and loan information.
