THE WILL OF LEONARD JOSEPH WOOD (1901)

I, Leonard J. Wood, of Hazelbrook, Lot 48 in the County of Queens in the Province of Prince Edward Island, being of sound mind, memory and understanding and being aware of the uncertainty of this life do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit.;

First, I give and bequeath after all my debts and funeral expenses are paid and satisfied, I give and bequeath to my son John Wood, the farm in Mount Albion on which he now resides.

Second I give and bequeath to my son Charles Wood the piece of land or marsh, purchased from David Enman, situated in Lot 49 estimated between 3 ½ to 4 acres.

Third I give to my daughter Mary Wood all my household effects, furniture, beds, bedding and all, ovables, also 1 mare, 1 cow, pigs etc.

Fourth I give to my Grandson Leonard Havlin Jenkins the plot of land with buildings there situated in Pownal. My son Robert to be guardian of the above property till Leonard Havlin becomes of age.

My family bible I give to my Grandson Theophulis Wood.

To my daughter Elizabeth Jenkins I give one hundred dollars to be paid out of the amount of money owed me from my son John Wood.

My executors have full power to collect the same.

I do hereby constitute and appoint my sons Robert Wood and Henry Wood, to be my executors of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal, the twenty second day of November 1901.
