2. JOHN2 ANDREWS (BENJAMIN1) was born June 22, 1799 in Henstead, Suffolk, England, and died Aft. 1881 in PEI.. He married MARY CATCHPOLE December 19, 1822 in North Cove, England.

Notes for JOHN ANDREWS:

John Andrews and his wife Mary Catchpole came from the county line, border of Norfolk and Suffolk in England John's father was Benjamin Andrews and his mother was Mary Wright and they married in Henstead, Eng. John was the eldest son. He had 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Two of his sisters died in their early twenties and one brother died at 2 months. One sister emigrated to Canada and lived in Aurora, Ont. The rest remained in Eng. and are buried in Eng. John and Mary arrived in Canada from England in 1826 . They had two children, born in England when they arrived from England, Hannah and James Catchpole. John was born about 1799 and was alive in 1881 when the 1881 census was taken. He was age 82 in 1881 and was living with his son Robert on the Glasgow Road. John was a farmer. Mary, his wife was born about 1800 and died before the 1881 census. They settled at lot 23, New Glasgow, PEI.
