2. Joseph Sydney Dealey was baptized 20 July, 1797 at Brixham, Devon, England. Joseph Sydney Dealey lived on PEI in the 1830s and 1840s as a land agent and mill owner. Joseph Sydney Dealey married 7 July, 1833 Margaret Anne Mahan daughter of Thomas Mahan at Halifax, Nova Scotia

Joseph Sydney & Margaret Dealey had 3 children:

i. Andrew Sidney Dealey born 24 Nov., 1834, baptized 25 Dec., 1834 at St. Pauls Church, Charlottetown; he appears to havebecome a clergyman & lived in New York state, USA
