4. iv Mary Lacey.

v Lawrence Lacey b. c. 1820, Ireland, d. 13 Dec. 1839, Charlottetown, bur. Cem 1. A Lawrence Lacey's baptism is recorded 14 Sept. 1820, in the St. Abban's Church Register in Adamstown, County Wexford. The parents recorded are "Stephen" Lacey and Catherine Gaffney. I suspect this is an error on the part of the priest who recorded it. Perhaps Stephen was the name of the sponsor or was Pierce's second name. Lawrence above would have been born about that time.

5. vi Pierce Lacey b. c. 1823.

Second Generation

No death or burial record exists in St. Dunstan's Basilica registers for Margaret Lacey. It is reasonable to assume, however, that Margaret is buried with her husband in the cemetery which was used at the time of his death in 1863, that is, Cem 2. James: James Doyle obtained a lease on the property in Mermaid from Catherine, the widow of John Doyle 8 Apr. 1842. (See PEIPARO Acc#RG16 Land Records, Lease #151, Reel #77). James had his will written 26 Nov. 1863 and signed it with an "X" the day before he died
