This Indenture made the fifteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three Between Louisa Augusta Wood consort of Sir Gabriel Wood, late, of Prince Edward Island and Maria Matilda Fanning and Margaret William Tryon Fanning of the same Island of the one part and Lodewick McIntosh of the aforesaid Island of the other part

Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of twenty-five pounds sterling money of Great Britain to the said Maria Matilda fanning in hand paid by the said Lodewick McIntosh at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Maria Matilda Fanning doth hereby acknowledge and every part thereof doth acquit, release and discharge the said Lodewick McIntosh his Executors and administrators

They, the said Louisa Augusta Wood, Maria Matilda Fanning and Margaret William Tryon Fanning have and each of them hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, released and confirmed and by these presents do and each of them doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, release and confirm unto the said Lodewick McIntosh in his actual possession now being and to his heirs and assigns All that tract, piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in Grenville parish in Queens County in the same Island bounded as follows that is to say commencing at a square post fixed on the North side of the New Road leading to Bedeque known by the name of Anderson Road marked number eleven thence running North for the distance of one hundred chains thence West for the distance of ten chains thence South to the said road and thence following the course of said Road Easterly to the place of commencement containing one hundred acres, a little more or less, and is part of Lot or Township number Sixty-seven (No. 67) once numbered twelve on the plan of said Township and the revisions and reactions, remainder and remainders, rents, ? and profit thereof with this and every of their appurtenances To have and to hold the said land and premises with the appurtenances unto the said Lodewick McIntosh his heirs, assigns to the only proper use and behest of the said Lodewick McIntosh his heirs and assigns forever according to the true intent and meaning of these presents and further that the said Louisa Augusta Wood, Maria Matilda Fanning and Margaret William Tryon Fanning and their heirs the aforesaid land and premises with the appurtenances unto the said Lodewick McIntosh his heirs and assigns against all persons with warrant and defend from the date hereof forever and lastly that the said Lodewick McIntosh and his heirs and assigns and all and every person and persons whatsoever claiming under him or them shall and may from time to time and at all times hereafter quietly and peaceably have hold use and occupy, possess and enjoy all and singular the said piece or parcel of Land and premises with the appurtenances without the lawful let, suit, trouble, denial, hindrance, molestation, interruption, eviction, disturbance of or by the said Louisa Augusta Wood Maria Matilda Fanning and Margaret William Tryon Fanning their heirs executors or any other person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim by from under of in trust for them or any of them In witness whereof the said parties to these presents have hereunto set their hand and seals by Samuel Nelson Esquire their true and lawful attorney the day and year first above written

Received the day and year within written of and from the within named Lodewick McIntosh the sum of Twenty five pounds sterling being the consideration within mentioned to be paid to me
