WILL OF ALEXANDER MORRISON - filed May 2, 1881

In the name of God Amen, I Alexander Morrison of Georgetown Royalty Prince Edward Island do mark and publish this as My last will and testament and hereby dispose of such worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to intrust Me as follows,

1st My funeral expenses and all my just debts to be paid by my Executors as soon after my death as possible

2nd I will bequeth to My dear wife Mary the one Half of My dwelling Houses with one cow and four sheep during her natural life

3 to My son Alexander one Half the farm and 60? acres more or less situated in Lot 53 in Kings County Also two Horses and 4 cows and the balance of sheep and all my farming utensils.

4 to my son Angus I give one Half my farm the half adjoining R. Campbell agreeable to a line Runs by Roderick Campbell said line Commencing at the North Corner of Hollands farm from there running to Cardigan Shore and said line to be a division line between My 2 sons Alexander and Angus

Also I will and bequeth to son Angus one Half of the wood and timber on the 60 acres on Lot 53 the land bequeth to Alexander

5 To my son Daniel I will and bequeth the pasture on the Royalty which is Now in my possession

6 to my Daughter Mary 1 Heiffer when ever she Make demand of the same and lastly I hereby nominate Constitute and appoint Henry Gillis Donald ---illegible--- both of Georgetown and John F. Morrison of Georgetown Royalty to be Executors of this my last will and testament

In witness whereof I the said Alexander Morrison doth hereto set my hand and seal the Sixteenth day of May in the Year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Seventy three

The written will of Alexander Morrison's being presented for probate John F. Holland one of the --- illegible --- witnesses hereto made oath that he was present and did see the said testator sign seal and deliver the ---illegible--- and for his last will and testament and that when he so did was of sound disposing mind and memory according to this disposition ---illegible--- and that he set subscribed his name as a witness thereto in the said testators presence and John J. Morrison set his name as a witness thereto at the same time
