This is the last Will and Testament of me, Ethel R. Robinson, of Summerside in Prince County, Prince Edward Island, widow of the late Senator Brewer W. Robinson.

I revoke all prior wills or other testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and declare this only to be my last will;

I appoint Maritime Trust Company and Mr. Peter G. Clark Vice-President at Summerside of that Company to be executors and trustees of this my will, and direct payment of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses in due course; I desire to be buried beside my late husband in his family’s plot at Summerside;

I give and bequeath to my nephew, Dr. Ralph Calder, of Charlottetown, one large antique punch bowl and ladle.

I give and bequeath to my sister Mrs. H. R. Mahar of Orange, Massachusetts, five small antique chairs, and one large antique armchair very highly carved, all upholstered in blue and grey velour;

I give and bequeath to my sister Mrs. E. A. Conrad or Greenfield Park, P.Q., small antique settee, now upholstered in red brocade;

I give and bequeath to my sister Mrs. D. G. Strudwick of St. Lambert, P. Q., mother’s antique oval mahogany table;

I direct that my personal effects, books, etc. and small items such as dishes etc. be divided among my sisters and family as they may agree. I request that they follow any signed list left by me.

To Miss Rosie Arsenault of Wellington, Price Edward Island, long in the employ of my husband and myself the sum of FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00);

Subject to the foregoing I direct that my executors get in, sell and convert into money all the rest and remainder of my estate, real and personal, of what nature and kind and wherever situate, of which I may die seized or possessed, or to which I have any power of testamentary disposition, and to divide the whole net proceeds into two equal parts, to be disposed of as follows:

Out of one part to pay to my niece Peggy Strachan (Peggy Morton) of 29 Norfolk Square, London, England, daughter of my sister Mrs. Nelly Strachan, the sum of Forty Dollars each month after my death until the whole be paid or until she shall earlier die;

Out of the other part to pay my niece Hilda Strachan (Angela Graham) of 16 Upton Road, Watford, England, daughter of my said sister, the sum of Forty Dollars each month after my death until the whole be paid or until she shall earlier die;

It is my will and I direct that should either of the said nieces predecease me or die before recovering the whole of the share hereby intended for her, such share or any part thereof hen remaining unpaid shall be paid to her child or children if any survive to the time of payment, but if no child so survive shall be placed inn trust fund and kept invested until the death of the last survivor of my sisters; the annual income therefrom shall be paid to the Price Edward Island Protestant Orphanage; should any of my sisters require any money at any time or times to meet any emergent need I direct that my executors pay to her such money out of the principal of the trust fund if the need be fully established; upon the death of the last survivor of my sisters I direct that the whole of the trust fund be paid over to said Orphanage.

As witness my hand to this my will this 27th day of September 1954.

Signed published and declared by the above named testatrix as and for her last will and testament, in the presence of us, both present at the same time, who in her presence, at her request and in presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses:

This will was proved June 1st A.D. 1965 on the oath of Miriam Worth, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, and was filed and registered June 17th A.D. 1965. Probate granted same day to the Executor named in the Will.
