Will of John Kearney, Sturgeon, Lot 61 (1821-1909)

Know all men by these presents that I John Kearney of Sturgeon, Lot 61 in the County of Kings and Province of Prince Edward Island farmer being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament:

First I will and bequeath to my beloved wife, Mary Karney, in lieu of dower food and comfortable living during the term of her natural life that she is to be supplied with food substantial food, comfortable clothing, medical attendants when required all and the common necessities of life that she now receives. This request is to remain a claim on my here and after mentioned property.

Second I give and { } to my son John Kearney who now resides with me, the homestead on which I now reside consisting of sixty acres of land a little more or less and situated at Sturgeon Lot 61 in said county and said Island together with all buildings, stock, crop farming utensils of all kinds, belonging to said premise that may be owned or possessed by one at the time of my death.

Third I nominate and appoint John Collings and Nathan Conrad of Sturgeon in said Lot in said county in said Island as executors to this my last will and testament. My hand and seal the twenty-second of December 1894.
