Last Will and Testament of John C. Leitch (1823-1888)

Know All Men By These Presents that I John Colin Leitch of Stanhope Lot No 34 Queens County Prince Edward Island, Farmer, being of sound disposing Mind and Memory do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament:
(1st) I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Amelia Currie wife of John Currie of Grand Rapids Michigan United States the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00)
(2nd) I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter, Florence Nightingale Leitch two hundred dollars ($200.00)
(3rd) I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Maggie Minto Leitch Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00)
(4th) I devise and bequeath to my son Bruce Lietch all the rest and residue of my Real Estate and Personal Property to have and to hold the same to him the said Bruce Leitch and to his heirs and assigns forever.
(5th) I appoint Duncan Shaw of Stanhope and my nephew Neil Higgins of the same place as executors of this my Last Will and Testament.
In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal and publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament in presence of the Witnesses named below this 24th day of June AD 1888.

Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the said John Colin Leitch as and for his Last Will and Testament in presence of us, who, at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses hereto
