The Will of John Shea Jr. (1827-1897, Albany)

This is the last Will and Testament of me John Shea of Albany in Township Number twenty seven in Prince Edward Island Farmer.

I give devise and bequeath to my son Martin Shea his heirs and assigns all my farm in Township Number twenty seven fronting on the Bedeque road containing about fifty (50) acres together with all the houses rights and appurtenances thereto belonging To have and to hold the said land unto and to the use of the Said Martin Shea his heirs and assigns forever Subject neverless to the charges and conditions herein mentioned and Expressed.

I give and devise to my son John Shea one horse to be a good one.

I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Lilia Shea her beds and all other articles her Mother left her Also two Cows and eight sheep. Also I give to my daughter Lilia Shea fifty (50) acres of land fronting on the road that leads from Albany siding to Maple Plains and joining land in the possion (sic) of Thomas McBride To have and to hold the said land unto and to the use of the said Lilia Shea her heirs and assigns forever.

I appoint John Keough and Henry Dawson of Tryon Farmers as Executors of this my last will and testament.

In Witness whereof I have to this my last will and testament Written on this and one preceeding sheet of paper my hand and Seal Suscribed and set the third day of January in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and ninety six.

Signed sealed and delivered by the above|Named John Shea and for his last will|And testament in the presence of us both at the|Same time who in his presence and at his request|And in the presence of each other have hereto subscribed
