Last Will and Testament of Joseph James Gillis Born Lot 14, PEI November 22, 1856 Died Summerside January 11, 1932

This is the last Will and Testament of me Joseph J. Gillis of the Town of Summerside in the County of Prince County in the Province of Prince Edward Island, labourer made this Fourth day of July in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Twenty Two.

I hereby revoke all former Wills and Testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made.

I hereby appoint William Buchannan of the Town of Summerside, Tailor to be the executor of this my Will.

I direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be paid as soon after my decease as may be convenient.

I give devise and bequeath the land and dwelling house owned by me situated on North Market Street in the Town of Summerside to my wife Sophia Gillis during her life and after her death to my son Alban D. Gillis of Summerside in Prince County blank absolutely. I give devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my estate both real and personal whatsoever and wheresoever situated unto my wife Sophia Gillis absolutely.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year first above written.
