In The Name of God Amen.

I Michael Costin of Palmer Road Lot Two Prince County Prince Edward Island being of sound mind and in the full possession of facilities do make the following as my last Will and Testament.

In the first place I bequeath to my Daughter Emily, fifty acres of my real estate being in the southern half in consideration of her paying or causing to be paid to the Government the amount of purchase due to the remaining half, viz, the fifty acres next to and running along the Boundary line between Lot one and two in which the Buildings are and further it is my will and desire she leave a private road to the width of twelve feet as at present situated from the buildings on the Northern of my real estate to the Palmer Road.

Secondly – I bequeath to my beloved wife the fifty acres of my real estate with the Buildings thereon and appurtenances thereunto belonging adjoining the aforesaid Boundary line. Thirdly, I bequeath my moveable property to my wife on condition that all lawful debts be paid but if my heirs neglect paying and small debt that I may owe my Executors are hereby authorized to levy on my moveable property until the bills standing against me are paid.

Fourthly – I bequeath my son, John One Dollar. To my son Edward One Dollar, to my daughter Catherine One Dollar. To my son Michael One Dollar, To my Daughter Mary Ellen One Dollar. To my daughter Eliza One Dollar.

Fifthly – I appoint the Rev. Dugald McDonald and Edward Hacket my Executors to see the terms of my will faithfully and legally carried out. In witness whereof in presence of the subscribing witnesses I append my hand and seal to this my last Will and Testament this fifth day of January One thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Two.
