A Few Notes

Mr. Albert Kinch's two year old cart colt, by a son of Ardowan, owned by John Richards, Esq., was distinguished among the horses on the ground. He weighs 1320 lbs.

Mr. James Barclay, of O'Leary Road, exhibited his splendid Percheron stallion.

Among the cattle, a magnificent short-horn-Holstein grade bull calf, attracted universal attention. At seven months, it weighs upwards of 600 pounds. The twin calves of Mr. Fred Ashley attracted a good deal of attention. The pigs on display would compare favorably with anything of the kind to be seen in the east. Some strong carts and dandy sleighs were shown by Mr. Robert Tuplin.
