This is the last Will and Testament of me James Bardin Palmer of The Recess in Prince Edward Island Esquire. I give, devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate and effects whatsoever to my Executors here-after named and the Survivor of them upon trust and it is my Will that my said Executors shall within a reasonable time after my decease divide and distribute the said Estate and effects among my dear Wife and children in such portions as they would be respectively entitled unto by virtue of the Statute of this Island Intituled "An Act relating to Wills, Legacies and Executors and for the Settlement and distribution of the Estates" in case I had died intestate And for that purpose it is my Will and desire that my said Executors or any two of them if they should disagree shall proceed to appoint Commissioners to make such distribution in manner and form as is directed by the said Statute in case of intestacy whether all my children may or may not have attained their ages of Twenty one years respectively at the time of my decease And I request that my body may be interred decently but by no means expensively with Masonic honors. I do hereby appoint my said dear Wife Millicent Palmer Executrix and my Sons Henry and Edward Executors of this my last Will and Testament and Guardians of the persons and fortunes of my infant children during their minority respectively In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the Second day of January in the year of Our Lord, One thousand Eight Hundred and thirty on which day I have attained fifty name years of age.
