" This is the last will and testament of me Joseph Winchester of Charlottetown in the Province of Prince Edward Island, retired Railway employee.


I bequeath the Life Insurance to which I am entitled as an employee of the Railway to my Grandchildren in equal shares, such of my Grandchildren as shall be living at the time of my decease shall alone be entitled to share in the distribution of such Insurance.


I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever situate unto my sons Lemuel Winchester and Harry Winchester upon trust to sell and convert such real and personal estate into money, with power to sell, either by Public Auction or by Private Contract, at such time or times as they may deem it advisable for the benefit of my estate, and on such sale or sales of my said real estate to execute Conveyances to the purchaser or purchasers thereof in fee simple, And I direct that the said Lemuel Winchester and Harry Winchester shall stand possessed of the proceeds of such sale and conversion upon trust in the first place to pay my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts, and then to divide the residue of my estate, including all moneys on deposit in Banks belonging to me at the time of my decease, among my six children in the following shares and proportions that is to say:- To Lemuel Winchester, Edward J. Winchester, Harry Winchester, Nelson Winchester and my daughter Florence one equal share each and to my son Ernest Winchester one and one-half shares. To the intent that my said son Ernest shall receive three thirteenths of the residue of my estate and my other children two thirteenths each.


I appoint my said sons Lemuel Winchester and Harry Winchester to be the Executors of this my will.


Lastly I revoke all other wills and testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and I declare these presents only to be and contain my last will and testament.


As Witness my hand at Charlottetown in the Province of Prince Edward Island this Twenty-ninth day of May A.D. 1916.

Signed Published and Declared by the said testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us both present at the same time, who at his request, in his presence and in the presence of each other have signed our names as attesting witnesses hereto. (Sgd.) Gil Gaudet. Robt. J. Campbell.


This Will was proved on the seventeenth day of March A.D. 1930 on the oath of Gil Gaudet one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, was filed and registered 18th March A.D. 1930 and Probate granted same day to the Executors therein named.
