Will of Benjamin Steinforth Sanderson

I, Benjamin Steinforth Sanderson, of Charlottetown in Queens County on Prince Edward Island, Merchant, declare this to be my last will and testament.

I give and bequeath to my wife Helen my insurance in the Canada Life Insurance Company amounting to about Two Thousand Dollars and also Five Thousand Dollars in the Crown Life Insurance Company for her own use absolutely.

I direct that my debts, funeral and testamentary expenses be paid out of the proceeds of my grocery business and that the balance of the proceeds of said business be divided equally between my three children, Mabel, Steinforth and Harold, share and share alike, the same to be paid to them as they respectively come of age. I give, devise and bequeath all the rest – residence and remainder of my property, including household furniture, to my said wife, Helen. I appoint my said wife Helen and Horace Haszard of Charlottetown, Wholesale Merchant, Executors and Executor of this my will. IN witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this First day of June, AD 1915.

Signed, published and declared as and
for his last will and testament in the presence
of us present at the same time, who, in his
presence, at his request, and in the presence
of each other have hereunto subscribed our
names as witnesses.
