The Last Will and Testament of Albert James Robinson 1872 – 1943

This is the last Will and Testament of me, Albert J. Robinson, Augustine Cove, Price County, Prince Edward Island, farmer hereby revoking all Wills, Testaments or Codicils by me at any time hereto fore made.

I devise and bequeath all my Estate, real and personal, to my Executors and trustees hereinafter named in trust for the purposes following:

Firstly, to pay my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses, and thereafter in trust to dispose of and pay over or convey the same to the person or persons or corporations hereinafter named as follows:

To my wife, Mary MacLukie, I give and bequeath all my real estate, farm crop, stock and implements of every kind. Also, my household furniture) excepting the piano) for her use absolutely. The said bequest to be charged with the following conditions, namely:

To my son, Eric C., he, having already received his share, by way of life insurance, and cash from the farm will not benefit further.

To my daughter, Margaret Ruth, she, having received her education will in addition receive only the piano.

To my son, James Ralph, he to receive equivalent to two years in Prince of Wales College, Charlottetown, P.E. Island or some similar high school.

All the rest and residue of my Estate, I devise and bequeath to ???

I nominate, constitute and appoint my wife, Mary MacLukie and Fred A. Leard, North Tryon, Prince Co., Prince Edward Island, farmer, my executors and trustees of this my last will with full power and authority to sell and dispose of all my estate where necessary, and execute any and all documents required to carry out this my will and should one or more of my said Executors or Trustees wish to retire, I authorize them to appoint a successor instead thereof.

In Witness whereof, I subscribed these presents as printed and written this twenty-sixth day of February A.D. 1941. Signed, published and declared by the said Testator as His last Will and Testament in the presence of us both present at the same time, who in His presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto set and subscribed our names as witness.

This will was proved on the second day of October A.D. 1943 on the oath of Brent C. Wood one of the subscribing witnesses thereto and was filed and registered October 7th A.D. 1943 and probate granted same day to the executors named in the Will. As certified by Muriel C. Leard, Registrar.
