This is the last Will and Testament of me peter McLauchlan of Charlottetown, Druggist’s Clerk.

1. It is my wish that my Executors hereinafter named shall in the first place pay all my debts, funeral and testamentary expenses.

2. After payment of my debts and funeral and testamentary expenses I give all my property to the following persons, namely - my mother Flora McLauchlan, my brothers Donald McLauchlan, Neil McLauchlan, John McLauchlan and Angus McLauchlan, my sister Catherine, wife of Peter N. Pate, and my friend George McDonald of Charlottetown, Clerk, to be equally divided between them; Each of the above named person to have an equal share.

3. It is my will, notwithstanding the bequest hereinbefore given to my brother Donald, that my brother Donald shall pay my Executors the amount he owes me and part of which is secured by a mortgage from him to me, and it is my will that my Executors collect the same and I hereby give them power so to do and for that purpose I hereby give them the land mention in said mortgage. And it is my will that the sum so owing from my brother Donald to me, shall form part of my property to be divided as mentioned in paragraph two of this my will Dated this twenty-eighth day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety (April 28, 1890).

Signed by the above named Peter McLauchlan as his last will and testament in the presence of us both being present at the same time who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses and we hereby certify that this will was first read over to him in our presence, and that he made his mark thereto in the presence of us both present at the same time

This will was proved on the 5th May 1890, on the oath of D.C. McLeod, a subscribing witness and on the same day Probate was granted to both Executors, and which I certify.
