Will of Rachael Duffy Quinn of Prince Edward Island

I Rachel Quinn of Charlottetown PEI, widow, being of sound mind make my last will and testament, and I hereby revoke all the other wills and testamentary dispositions made by me at any former time. I direct that after my death all my lawful debts be paid, and also that my funeral and burial expenses be paid. I direct that my household furniture, my bedding, a table and three chairs be given to my daughter, Mary Quinn, and the balance of said furniture be given to my son, Patrick Quinn, of the sum of four hundred and ninety-nine dollars and sixty-four cents deposited in the Dominion Savings Bank with interest. I will that twenty dollars be given to Rev. James Morrison of Charlottetown to be distributed for Masses for my soul, of the balance of said sum I direct that one half be held in trust by my executors to given to my son, Patrick Quinn according as he may be in need of it, and the other half be also held in trust for my said executors for my daughter the said Mary Quinn according as she may be in need of it.

I appoint the James Morrison of Charlottetown and James Duffy also of Charlottetown to be the Executors of this my last will and testament, which will is written on a sheet and half sheet of letter paper.

Signed by the testatrix as her last will and testament into the presence of the undersigned who at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other have signed our names as witnesses.

This will was proved on the 14th day of November 1898 on the oath of Patrick Bourke one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, and was filed and registered on the 2 day of December 1898. And probate presented the same day to both Executors.
