The Last will and Testament of William Hawkins of Murray Harbour Township Number Sixty-four in Prince Edward Island.

Liber 6 Folio 428

At my Death I give and bequeath to Mary Margaret my beloved wife full possession of Lands and anything appertaining thereto as long as she lives. Then at her death the 100 acres of Land is for Thomas and Mary Beck, our Nephew and Niece fulfilling our promise to them. In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this Seventh Day of September in The Year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred and Sixty-three.

This Will was proved on this 4th day of November AD 1863 on the Oath of John Robin a subscribing Witness and on the same day, Letters of Administration and testamento annexo were granted to the widow Mary Margaret Hawkins the Executor being named in the Will -

Note: William Mitchell Hawkins was the second son of Giles Hawkins and Susanna Chessell. He married Mary Margaret LeMessurier. William and Mary had no children. Mary Margaret Hawkins who married Thomas Beck was the daughter of William Hawkins' brother Giles Nicholas Hawkins.
