Death Notices from Local Newspapers:

Some time ago, Eldon Sentner approached me about putting abbreviated obituaries in the newsletter for those who had passed away during the week, and which appeared in Island newspapers. I have long wanted to do this, but lacking a volunteer until now, it was too time consuming to do myself. Eldon volunteered, and this is the result. When specified in the obituary, the address for the funeral home's web page will be given, so you can view the full obituary if still on-line. Act fast to see the original obituary, these are only posted to the funeral home web sites for a short time. Obituary indexes will be updated weekly, in the newsletter, and here on the site.

We have a request from Eldon. If any of you see an obituary for an islander who was living "away" from the Island or who has an Island connection, we would appreciate it if you could pass it along to Eldon at daleandeldon@eastlink.ca so that it might be included in this listing. Thanks!

1. If you can not get the obit from the funeral home site, email Eldon at daleandeldon@eastlink.ca and he will send it to them.
2. If you see a death notice that mentions PEI in the notice from on or off-Island, please email it to Eldon to include it in the weekly listings.
3. If it is an older notice, back to 2005, Eldon will include it in the weekly listings.
